Ben Nott is an artist working at the edge of inner experience, symbolic form, and conscious transformation.
His practice begins with automatic drawing. From there, his work expands into abstract surrealism, where distorted architectures, fluid forms, symbolic spaces, and layered visual structures become a way of mapping the unseen forces beneath ordinary perception.
At the heart of Ben’s work is a search for integration. His imagery often moves between chaos and structure, intuition and strategy, shadow and illumination.
Ben’s creative language draws from myth, philosophy, trauma, neurobiology, and postmodern thought. Rather than presenting fixed answers, his work invites viewers into unstable spaces.
His practice is also shaped by a deep interest in consciousness. He approaches art as both creation and inquiry. Ben’s work does not aim to simply represent the world. It aims to reveal the hidden structures moving beneath it.
